We were tasked to help the Pepsi distributor network fill category whitespace and go head-to-head with the enhanced beverage powerhouse, Bai. In doing so, we helped develop a new beverage from the ground up by creating branding that stood out in the crowded sparkling beverage category, ensuring it had special appeal to millennial audiences.
This project is viewed as one of the most successful brand launches in Klarbrunn history. C-store instant success quickly led to grocery shelf placements with rapid regional distribution, and BUBBL’R was picked up by Target for national distribution.
Within six years, BUBBL’R grew to be the #1 sparkling water in Wisconsin, Minnesota and the Dakotas. Engagement rates on TikTok and Instagram are 6 times the category average, and growth of the brand shows no signs of slowing down.
